Custom Development

Can you customize carbon fiber products for B2B projects?

Yes. We support custom carbon fiber product development based on your design concept, sample, 3D data, performance target, brand positioning, and production requirements. Customization can include structure, material, weave, finish, logo, packaging, and manufacturing process.

Yes. We support OEM and ODM projects for global brands, distributors, and product developers. This can include private-label production, exclusive design development, custom packaging, logo solutions, and project-based engineering support.

A project can start from a stable physical sample, 3D files such as STP, STL, or IGS, an existing prototype, or even an early concept sketch. Our team will review feasibility, structure, process, cost, mold plan, and production route before moving into formal development.

A typical process includes requirement review, feasibility analysis, 3D scanning or data review, CAD/DFM development, mold planning, tooling, first sample production, fitment or function validation, revision if needed, and mass production approval.

Yes. Our design and engineering team can help turn a concept, sketch, reference image, or rough idea into a manufacturable 3D design. Before production, we will evaluate structure, material, process feasibility, cost, and mold development requirements.

Yes. If the client provides 3D renders, design files, or reference concepts, JCSPORTLINE can use them for 3D reverse engineering, structure review, and mold development preparation. If the client does not have a designer, we can also provide original creative design and 3D rendering support through our Europe and North America creative design resources. This service may be charged separately depending on the project scope and complexity.

If complete and reliable 3D data is available, many projects can move directly to CNC mold development. 3D printing is useful when the product has complex styling, high visual risk, or the client wants to verify on-car fit, proportion, or installation appearance before investing in tooling.

Yes. For custom projects, we normally create a first sample after tooling. The sample is used to verify fitment, structure, appearance, surface finish, installation method, and production feasibility before mass production approval.

For many standard custom projects, the first sample can be completed in about 58 days after the design data and development direction are confirmed. The actual timeline depends on product size, tooling complexity, process route, revision rounds, and sample validation requirements.

Some urgent projects can be reviewed for priority scheduling, but acceleration depends on CNC capacity, mold complexity, material availability, sample validation requirements, and current production load. We will confirm the realistic timeline before accepting an urgent plan.

Materials & Process

Do you use real carbon fiber?

Yes. Our products use real carbon fiber materials, not printed or plastic imitation carbon patterns. Depending on the project, we can provide wet carbon, prepreg dry carbon, forged carbon, colored carbon, or hybrid composite solutions.

We can support 3K twill, plain weave, 12K, forged carbon, colored carbon, honeycomb-style visual effects, and hybrid materials such as carbon fiber with Kevlar where the project requires higher impact resistance or specific structural performance.

Dry carbon uses prepreg carbon fiber and controlled curing processes to achieve lighter weight, higher strength, better stability, and more consistent structural performance. Wet carbon uses resin infusion or hand layup processes and is often more cost-effective for appearance-focused or lower-volume applications.

We support multiple composite processes, including prepreg autoclave curing, oven curing, vacuum infusion, compression molding, forged carbon molding, and project-specific hybrid process routes. The right process is selected according to strength, appearance, tolerance, cost, and production volume.

Compression molding is usually the best option when a project requires high repeatability, faster cycle time, and larger-volume production. However, it requires suitable product geometry, mold investment, and engineering feasibility review before confirmation.

Yes, for engine bay, exhaust-adjacent, or other high-temperature applications, we can select high-temperature prepreg, resin systems, or structural reinforcement methods based on the working environment and performance target.

Yes. We can support gloss, matte, forged carbon, colored carbon, gloss black, and other project-specific finishes. For matte finishes, we can control gloss level according to client requirements and validate surface stability through production and QC standards.

Mold & Tooling

What mold materials can you provide?

We can recommend different mold solutions based on budget, tolerance, production volume, surface requirements, and product size. Options may include resin molds, carbon fiber molds, aluminum molds, and steel molds for higher-volume or higher-precision production.

Mold life depends on mold material, product structure, curing temperature, production process, and maintenance. Resin or carbon fiber molds are usually suitable for smaller production runs, while aluminum or steel molds are better for higher-volume or higher-precision projects.

Yes. We support mold planning, CNC mold development, mold repair, mold maintenance, and production fixture design. In-house mold control helps us improve development speed, fitment accuracy, and production consistency.

If mold modification is required because of confirmed production issues, we will handle it according to the agreed project responsibility. If the modification is caused by a client-requested design change, structural change, or new requirement after tooling approval, additional costs may apply.

Fitment & Engineering

How do you control fitment accuracy for custom automotive carbon fiber parts?

We control fitment through 3D scanning, reverse engineering, CAD data comparison, CNC mold accuracy, bracket and mounting point verification, trial fitting where available, and final product inspection before delivery.

Yes. For performance parts such as rear wings, splitters, diffusers, and aero kits, JCSPORTLINE can provide CFD simulation and aerodynamic validation based on project requirements. This service can help evaluate airflow behavior, pressure distribution, downforce balance, and aerodynamic efficiency before prototyping or production. CFD support may be charged separately depending on project complexity and scope.

Quality & Testing

How do you guarantee product quality?

Quality is controlled through material selection, process SOPs, mold accuracy, production inspection, surface finishing standards, fitment checks, and final QC before shipment. For project-based orders, we can define inspection standards and validation items before production.

Depending on the product and application, testing can include dimensional inspection, fitment review, temperature cycling, UV aging, rain or humidity exposure, impact resistance, paint adhesion, surface hardness, tensile testing, corrosion-related testing, and packaging inspection.

Yes. We use UV-resistant resin and coating systems according to product requirements, and we validate surface durability through weathering and aging-related tests where applicable. Higher-end coating systems can be discussed for projects that need longer anti-yellowing performance.

We control surface quality through material control, mold maintenance, clean production processes, curing standards, sanding and coating SOPs, paint adhesion checks, surface hardness requirements, and final visual inspection before delivery.

For multi-piece parts, we plan fabric cutting, weave direction, layup sequence, and symmetry requirements during the SOP stage. This helps improve visual consistency across components such as front lips, side skirts, hoods, wings, and multi-piece kits.

Yes. Finished products are inspected before shipment, including surface finish, key dimensions, mounting points, packaging condition, and project-specific requirements. For B2B orders, inspection standards can be confirmed before mass production.

If a major batch quality issue occurs, we review the NCR, investigate the root cause with engineering, quality, and production teams, define corrective actions, update production SOPs, and communicate a solution based on the agreed quality responsibility.

Production & Lead Time

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

MOQ depends on the product type, process, tooling, and customization scope. For many custom projects, a standard MOQ may start around 20–30 pieces, while very small runs can be reviewed separately with adjusted pricing or development costs.

Yes, low-volume development can be reviewed case by case, especially for prototypes, validation builds, show cars, or early-stage product testing. Because engineering and setup resources are still required, the unit cost is usually higher than mass production.

Bulk production lead time usually depends on order quantity, process, product size, mold availability, finishing requirements, and current capacity. Standard production may take about 15–45 days, while very large or complex orders may require a longer schedule.

Not always. Some popular products may have inventory in our overseas or China warehouses, while other products are made to order. If an item is out of stock, production time will be confirmed based on the product and order quantity.

For long-term B2B partners, we can discuss forecast planning, semi-finished inventory, staged delivery, overseas warehouse stocking, and priority production plans for high-demand products.
